This is a common refrain from me. Have a problem, try to fix it a hundred different ways, nothing works, problem gets worse and worse and worse, double-down and try even harder, end up 10x more miserable than I was to begin with.
I have tried this with losing weight, finding a husband, and improving my mental health. Now, I am 100 lbs overweight and have fibromyalgia and high blood pressure. I am as single as they come and haven’t dated anyone in three years. My mental health is a witch’s bonfire.
What is the moral of the story here? Is it to just…stop trying? What does that even mean?
